Sports Nutrition & Recovery Claims
Performance and recovery claims require more than endurance markers — they demand evidence of how a product impacts cellular energy, muscle stress response, and recovery biology.
We design assays that directly evaluate bioenergetics, oxidative stress, and muscle recovery pathways. Using the Seahorse XF Analyzer, we quantify mitochondrial function through OCR and ECAR, enabling precise assessment of ATP production, mitochondrial efficiency, and metabolic flexibility — key drivers of endurance and fatigue resistance.
This is complemented by cell-based oxidative stress and recovery models, where ROS levels and cellular damage are monitored under stress conditions. With flow cytometer, we further characterize cell viability, mitochondrial health, and apoptosis, providing high-resolution insight into recovery and protection mechanisms.
To capture systemic response, we use Luminex MAGPIX for multiplex cytokine profiling, enabling simultaneous measurement of inflammation and recovery-associated biomarkers. This integrated approach allows you to substantiate claims related to reduced fatigue, improved endurance, and faster recovery with strong mechanistic backing.
